Starting in 1975 with thirty-six members we have grown to 80 current members dedicated to fraternalism and brotherhood. We are proud of our continuing tradition of promoting our unique social culture with no political or religious ties and with respect to the fact that we are Americans of Armenian decent. We are also very proud of our many members that served with distinction and honor in the U.S. Military during WW II and later engagements.

Our main charities have been the Ararat Retirement Home of Los Angeles, the Fairview Hospital for the Mental and Physically Disabled, the Orange County Rescue Mission, the Orangewood Home for Abused Children, the Armenian Eye Care Institute, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).

Currently our main, well-attended, fundraisers are our annual Sports Hall of Fame Banquet, Spring Dance and Summer Picnic. The Sports Hall of Fame Banquet features well known professional and collegiate sports celebrities, while the evenings highlight is the induction of a deserving Armenian American into our Sports Hall of Fame. The Spring Dance features Armenian and American music. The Summer Picnic, held each year in July, features a great shish kabob dinner, music and prizes.

Some of the activities that we have enjoyed over the years include: stag outings in San Diego in the spring (now held in Laughlin, NV) and Lake Arrowhead in the fall, Newport Bay cruise, New Years Eve Parties, Armenian-Western Hoe-down, Armenian dance lessons, tennis and golf tournaments, beach parties, pot luck dinners, conventions, outings with our wives to Las Vegas, Laughlin, and Hearst castle. Many of these events could not be possible without the support of the wonderful wife’s of our chapter members.

It is with pride that our chapter shares it ranks with four Past Grand Masters, PGM Z. Harry Astor, PGM Haig Jamgotchian, PGM Bob Juskalian, and PGM Archie Cholakian.

We are excited about our active Jr. Trex Chapter, ages 17 through 24, which will be instrumental to our continuing success in the future.

You are welcome at any time to join us at one of our open affairs where you can meet the members. To join our chapter, one must first have a current member as a sponsor. The sponsor will then invite you to visit several of our dinner meetings and then apply for membership in the Orange County Chapter of the Triple X fraternity where you too will have FUN in the SUN.
