Parev!

The Oakland Chapter of the Triple X Fraternity meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (except December) at the Italian American Hall, located at 2712 Encinal Avenue in Alameda.

Each month, we serve up no-host cocktails, tavloo, cards and cigars beginning at 5:30 pm, a casual mezza at 6, dinner at 7, and our regular business meeting at 8 pm.

(Well, except for times of global pandemic, when we digitize our brotherhood over the interwebs and share cigars and refreshing beverages for an hour or so before our 8 pm online meeting time)

As a chapter with 56 active members from all around the San Francisco Bay Area, we host several public and members-only events through the year, including our January Crab Feed and Silent Auction, members-only Cigar Night,  annual Charity Dinner/Dance (featuring the chapter’s very own Brotherly Love & the Really Hye Horns), Trexmen-only Lobster Dinner (a Fall classic!), and our year-ending Trexmas Dinner for Brothers, families, and special guests (which sometimes includes a jolly old soul with a red coat and white beard).

For more than 20 years, Oakland chapter brothers have been braving the challenges of the mountain wilderness (swimming, boating, floating, fishing, hiking, eating, and taking long naps in the summer sun) in annual Trex family camping trips. Closer to home, the lofty heights we scale lead to the Treehouse Bar above left field bleachers at Oakland A’s games.

And, of course, we’re always happy to hear from prospective members!
